Date: Fri, 22 Mar 1991 18:05:42 GMT I would like to hear some information about 40-50 MB external SCSI drives for Macintosh. I am interested in purchasing one as a secondary drive to be used at work and at home so I can tranfer data more easily. What is important is the price, durability and portability. Speed is a secondary priority. I was interested in what people think of the Jasmine Direct Drive 40. It is a good price, but I have heard bad things about Jasmine service and their reputation as well. I just want a good rugged drive at an affordable price. I would not like to pay more than $400 for a drive. Also, what mechanisms are good.. Quantum?? Fugitsu?? I can summarize the results, if anyone is interested.
