Keywords: n Message-ID: <69903@brunix.UUCP> Date: 26 Mar 91 21:30:05 GMT Sender: news@brunix.UUCP Organization: Brown University Lines: 9 With system 7.0b4, if I have Gatekeeper installed and try to turn file sharing on, the mac hangs after several tens of seconds (while it's still trying to start up file sharing). Without Gatekeeper installed, file sharing starts up and works fine. (This is Gatekeeper 1.1.1, BTW.) This happens even if I turn on all privileges for the Finder in Gatekeeper. From a superficial check in MacsBug, it looks like the mac is waiting for net activity which it never gets (it hangs in a 2-instruction loop waiting for a mem location to change). Is this happening for anyone else? Is it a bug with 7.0b4 or Gatekeeper (or both)? Tim
