M/120, RISC/os 4.01.

I sometimes get this message "tape error at 78 ft." while doing
dumps.  Not regularly, but not rarely, either.  It seems unlikely
that several different tapes purchased at different times are
all bad at the same spot on the tape.

Is this a problem with dump?  With the tape driver?
