I followed the deirections in the Network and systems administration manual, both methods (with and without ttysoftcar) but still no luck... I have created a second device "on top of" the first device, with the minor device number differing by 128, and when I put the getty on the first device, and then try to tip the second device, I get the message " all ports busy"..., and the only thing running on that port is the getty... Any help would be appreciated... mike P.s. The modem I am trying to hook is a telebit T1000... P.p.s Anyone have the source code to uugetty ??? That should help..
