Do these parameters matter in this situation? The problem is that a diskless 3/50 mounting it's root and swap from a 3/60's SCSI disk has sloowed down recently. Both are running 4.0.3. The reason I ask about rsize and wsize is that we found it necessary to set these values to 2048 when mounting disks from a 3/280 which resides on a different subnet. In both cases the NFS traffic is competing with our campus "Backbone" network traffic. The 3/60 and 3/50 are NOT insulated from the backbone by routers. Please respond by email and I'll summarize.
