If I do not have any entries in /etc/ttytab activated, (in particular the console), init runs away and chews up lots of cpu, and does no zombie collection. At this point, reenabling the console and sending a HUP signal to init does no good. Does anyone know of any bug patches or workarounds to fix this problem? Jon Biggar jon@netlabs.com
