There's a compatibility mode on 4105s which should allow them to interpret 4010/4014 codes. I think this happens automatically, but since I haven't used a real 4105, I can't be certain. We use the C version of DVItoVDU on Unix systems, displaying on the EmuTek emulator on PCs, but we have to switch the emulator into a 40xx mode, then we can use it with -v tek4010 (the C/Unix version's equivalent of /VDU=TEK4010 on the Modula-2/VMS version), and it works just fine. Didn't you try /VDU=TEK4010 ? It would seem the obvious choice. By the way, there's a new release of the C version on the way, rewritten to use PK fonts directly. It will be installed in the Aston archive soon. --dave (David Osborne, Univ of Nottingham && Aston TeX Archive group) -- David Osborne
