A flag that causes one word/column output. 2. Understands LaTeX as well as TeX. 3. A flag to tell it *not* to follow chains of input/includes. (I want this as a filter to use before running ispell.el under Emacs for LaTeX documents.) So far I have not found any version with both features 1 and 3. Please email me; I don't always read this group, and the only machine we get news on is flakey to boot.
