I am looking into integrating MacOS and A/UX on some systems at work and have a few questions. Any and all help is greatly appreicated. How seamless is the integration of the two operating systems when they co-reside on a machine? i.e., can I transfer files between the two file systems by dragging icons in the usual Mac fashion? (I am referring to plain text files, so I don't think there should be any problems with files getting scrambled due to their contents.) Would another (possibly less expensive/better) alternative be to run MacX under MacOS and simply connect to the UNIX universe via ehternet? What are the advantages/disadvantages of such an arrangement? Are there any tools available for converting MS Word files to (shudder) troff format & visa versa? Have you had any experience with them? Can you direct me to a publisher/vendor of such tools? Please respond to me via e-mail and I will summarize to the net. Thanks in advance! Mike mps@cbvox.att.com
