X windows takes 35% of my cpu time . Can this be happen. I don't want waste
all my cpu time there, since each program I'm running takes 3-4 hours of cpu time
X windows is the default one which comes with the AIX tapes. I'm using some
clients from X11R4 (export.mit) and emacs 18.57. This is the output of
ps command.

I never close the X session. Can this be the cause? When I have
to leave I lock the screen and switch the screen with Alt - Ctrl/Alt keys.
