It was solved partially, but still causes lots of problems at our site. Informally, interactive folks have told me that fixing it is a very high priority (this was 6 weeks ago; maybe they have a fix by now...) There are also some kernel panics, but we don't experience them very often. The intereactive folks say that they are working on that problem as well.
