Well, as I get to know Windows more, there are still a lot of things to learn and what better way than to ask the experts on the net. I hope you guys don't mind. Windows Novices like me have to start somewhere. So I have a few more questions: 1) I am still looking for a good coom program for Win 3.0 I am using COM4 and with a certain fix, I have it working under Win3.0 Terminal is OK but it only supports Xmodem/CRC and Kermit. I tried WNQVT455 and it more more protocols, but it only came with EGA fonts which were far too small to read. Does anyone have fonts for VGA or superVGA for this? Also, with the Procomm+ I am using, I can use ANSI. Somehow, the 2 programs I mentioned do not. So when I log on to certain BBS, I see a lot of garbage. Can anyone help? Is Unicom a better program? 2) I am thinking of getting ATM. It seems v1.1 is out. Does it only come with PM4.0 or can you get it separately? What is the major difference between v1.0 and v1.1? I use a HP Deskjet 500 using a scalable font driver that is supplied by HP, will this be compatible? Are the fonts on cica shareware? Also, does anyone know how Freedom of press comapres with ATM? Well, thanks in advance for your replies. B.J.
