Ami seems to fine-tune the font dimensions for the printer you intend to use. I found that after formatting a document for a Panasonic KX-P1124 via the LQ2500 driver, when I wanted a PostScript version I had to adjust the margin settings slightly, otherwise the choice of line-breaks, etc. was different. I don't know if this is the problem reported in the original posting, but it might have some bearing on it. dhf@linus.mitre.org
