Message-ID: <1849@manta.NOSC.MIL> Date: 26 Mar 91 19:01:55 GMT Organization: Computer Sciences Corporation Lines: 26 Howdy We are having a strange encounter with an application on an AST 386sx. It is a local application that establishes a SLIP link to send and get email. This application works properly on another AST 386sx machine, and a Zenith Z300 (both under windows, running full screen). On the problem machine, the application has communication problems when running full screen; It times out when it attempts to open a connection through its link. However, if the application is run in a window, it works properly. It is able to connect and run without a problem. The app is run with a PIF that has reasonable options (Text mode, exclusive, no HMA). I read through the manual (OK, I admitted it) and was unable to find any clues. Any of you kind souls have any ideas why an application would not run full screen and run properly in a window ? Please mail or post as appropriate. Muchos thanks in advance.
