While Borland is clearly not at fault in this case, I think that it is worth posting once as a reminder to well intentioned others that we need to avoid such postings outside of comp.newprod The actual effect of such postings is to place at risk the future access of many readers of USENET to USENET newsgroups and it just isn't worth it. Please try to avoid the purely commercial postings outside comp.newprod. A general posting that just says "Such and such product has been announced, go read the posting in comp.newprod for details" is probably safe, but posting the commercial note to any other group can hurt other net.users. It has been the case already that some sites have been forced to disconnect because of such commercial postings and other sites are at high risk because of regional network policy or company policy on "commercial use".
