(Sorry, I didn't keep the message). I've also had a few problems with icon positions and sizes that won't do what I want: 1. The wastebasket seem to insist on crawling over to the right until only about 1/4 of it is showing -- it is actually off screen both horizontally and vertically, with only the upper left-hand corner showing. If I move it back and save the layout, after a day or so it seems to be back into the corner again. 2. I have the clock set to "digital" display, with the "seconds" enabled. No matter how many times I size the clock so that the seconds show up (and save the screen layout), sooner or later (usually sooner), it has re-sized itself so that the seconds are truncated at the right side of the window. This is Open Windows 2.0 running on Sun 4.1.0, BTW. Does anyone know what's going on? Oh yes, and as long as I'm griping, is anyone besides me angry at the behavior of dbxtool under OW 2.0? I just can't get used to having to click every time I want to issue a command. It throws off my whole rhythm and slows down the entire debugging process for me. I understand that Sun is hiding behind the Open Look Specification in regards to this behavior. I say, "poo!" If it interferes with people's work, then it's no darned good! -Bill Leue leue@crd.ge.com [ Disclaimer: the grumpy opinions expressed here are my own, not GE's ]
