Lines: 25 I'm using OpenWindows 2.0 on a Sun4/110. I have the following OLIT widget hierarchy - BaseWindowShellWidget Form ControlArea ScrolledWindow Custom Widget What I want is to have my Custom widget have a size of 1000x1000. I then want to scrolled window containing it to have a max width and max height of 1000 (these are the XtNviewWidth & XtNviewHeight resources). However I want my application base window to come up with whatever geometry the user passes in on the command line via the -geometry command line option. The Asente&Swick book states that the XtNgeometry resource of a Shell widget "forces its [the shell's] child to this size". When I use -geometry 600x400 on the command line, however, I still get a base window big enough to hold a 1000x1000 scrolling window. It seems to be ignoring the command line option. Any suggestions?
