Question 1: I attempt to set the labelString and stringDirection resources from a resource file. In particular, I set stringDirection to Right-To- Left. But, the label appears Left-To-Right. So: does the contents of the XmString override that of stringDirection? Or: or what? Question 2: When using a pixmap label, I attempt to load labelPixmap with the output of XWD (which I understand to be a pixmap). I try both XY and Z formats, but neither will load. I have no problem loading a bitmap (as produced by bitmap(1X)). So: is the name misleading, and is this really a bitmap label? Or: is this something that is "fixed" in Release 1.1 Or: am I clueless, and XWD doesn't really output a pixmap Or: ... Thanks in advance. Mail or post as you see fit . . . I will summarize if no-one posts. -kdg
