I suspect you mean digitized speech as all solid state electronics, and computers are digital. Digitized speech is based on human speech which is digitized or reduced to numbers for later playback. The Keynote Gold is not digitized. It is synthesized speech like everything else we use. It used the same hardware as the Audapter from Personal Data Systems. Personally, i consider it to be somewhat better then the SSI 263/sounding board/SynPhonix type synthesizer, but this is a subjective opinion. We mostly like what we are used too. ...
