Campbell's post about dogs
going through metal detectors.
 But what about when they
insist on confiscating your
cane cane so they can X-ray
it? I tell them that it's
hollow and that it's not like
a piece of luggage, but I've
never persuaded them to let me
keep it.  Are sighted people
asked to remove their
ear-rings or their glasses or
even their contacts?  And what
about people than  that have
pace-makers or metal plates
implanted surgically as a
result of some skelital
injury?
