I wish I had had some input into the ordering of some of the equipment. I'm supposed to be the computer expert, but others are making decisions without asking for my "expertise." I have been fiddling with the Navigator and it will certainly be a challenge. It's supposed to have a means by which the text on the screen is converted to grade two braille (called View 2), and while I have it loaded through the .bat file, all I'm getting is grade one braille. Oh well, computers and periperials are well know for being challenging little beasts, and somehow or another I'll get this one figured out. Sounds like you are making considerable progress with your deaf-blind client. I would have to think that computers and telecommunications will open up all kinds of wonderful things for him! The traveling sounds terribly expensive, though! And thanks for offering to message with my kids when they come on line. When we get to the Echo's portion of my telecom lessons, for sure you'll be hearing from them. So tell me, what other things have you been doing lately? And how did the venison taste? Can't say as I have ever had the pleasure (?) of tasting venison. Is it good? -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!128!13!Bonnie.Snyder Internet: Bonnie.Snyder@f13.n128.z1.fidonet.org
