The scanner was different from the KPR in that it as wide as the standard page and you moved it from top to bottom fairly quick. One pass would tell you if you had something to read then you could decide whether you wanted to go on or not. It seems like this was a package deal with speech and disk drives in a fairly small package. A friend would like to contact the company if some one can come up with the name and maybe a number.
