They had given a near-perfect performance in the competition Saturday in Orlando, Fla. Three of the five judges gave the Elites a perfect 33 score for their performance; the other two each awarded the team a 30. The 3-foot trophy will be brought back to The Virginia School for the Blind and Deaf in Hampton, VA by the 10 member team and it's director, Donald Cooper. Cooper, formed the team about 2 1/2 years ago and uses a combination of voice and sign language to drill the four girls and six boys.
