We had 2 files get very large - about 16 megs each. The files were errlog and log in /usr/lib/news. We run news 2.11 from SCO. The files were full of a repeated message from inews all for the same article. The message was that inews expected a linecount of 52 and got 54. This continued from 04:58 till 10:02 with about 450 entries every minute. Thats a *whole lotta* entries. After that operations seemed to return to normal. Any ideas of what happened and how to prevent it from happening again? I am fairly new at news administration and I am trying to learn more before we start feeding other sites so any help will be appreciated. Thank you. Brian -- | D.
