I am now the proud owner of a Digitan Systems FAX/MODEM board for my PC. Software came with it for the FAX and MODEM functions, but PROCOMM PLUS works so well that I intend to use it for the MODEM. The FAX software (BITFAX) leaves something to be desired, however. My question is this (actually 2 questions). First, is there a public domain software package (like PROCOMM) for running with FAX boards? Second, is there a public domain utility that will allow me to take received FAXs and convert them to an ASCII text file (assuming that they're text files to begin with). Thanks. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry Kahhan - NRA, NRA-ILA, CSG, GOA, GSSA | The opinions expressed here do lkahhan@bnr.ca | not necessarily represent the | views of the management. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
