    I am looking for information about construction an induction heating
unit in the 1-2kw range. I would like a unit that runs from 115 volt house
current, preferably without a transformer - I have seen commercial induction
cooking units that apparently have this design.
  
    If anyone has information or can point me in the right direction regarding
schematics/plans for a unit such as this, I'd appreciate an answer via Email,
