It seems from the papers that Marine combat reserve units were
used in Desert Storm and Army reserve units were not, because
they were found to be unready.  Some commentators claimed that
the Army trouble was with the higher level officers.  Does anyone
know what level of Marine units were used - battalion or higher?
What is the reason for the difference?
