Lines: 16 Approved: military@amd.com From: lafford@serum.Kodak.COM (Rick Lafford) I believe that I read somewhere that the A-10 nolonger uses the depleted uranium ammo due to the high toxcicity (lousy fingers). As it was explained to me, the gun is not the most effective tank killer anyway (Mavericks are) and the DU rounds created a definite hazard to clean-up.
