I am new to the pc-compatible world, having spent most of my computing life on Macs. But next year I become sys admin to a Novell network (mixed PCs and Macs) and I need to start collecting miscellaneous software - which is where you all come in. The only micro that has access to the net is a Mac, through a modem. My question is, how do I go about getting these files, and ones in archive sites (ftp) onto a pc disk. I know nothing of zip, arc, et al., other than their names. Please help. email would be best.... schoen2@husc9.harvard.edu
