The program FDFORM16.ZIP available will let you get 800k from a 360k floppy, 1400 from a 1.2 and 1600 from a 1.44. I used the program to store .ZIP-files on 360k's formatted to 720k. This worked OK on my machine, but a friends Commodore PC-40 wouldn't touch them, even with the supplied TSR installed. Most other computers seemed to agree to the format after some coersion. I stopped using it after I found out that disks stored for some time developed soft errors, "fixable" by a retry on read.
