Thanks for a really neat article.

This revives a long standing curiosity I have had about threaded code
interpreters. I've never really seen a good reference paper on the
subject; most of what I have learned has been through "back door"
sources. Are there any good papers on threaded code systems? Do any
books have good information on them?
