I am attempting to understand the LLC layer of token ring.  I am reading
the LAN Technical reference where they refer to Service Access Points
(SAPS) and Link Stations.  What I do not understand is why Link Stations
even exist.  I understand how SAPS are used, but I do not understand
what Link Stations do for the Data Link Layer.
