It uses an Edsun CEG chip which utilizes a technique called anti- aliasing there producing an effective resolution of up to 2048x1536 with a whopping 700,000 colors! There are a number of sample pictures that came with it (marked with .CEG)... one utilizes as many as 32,000+ colors. I am wondering if there are any utilities (UNIX or IBM) which can change other graphics formats to the .CEG format. Also, I am looking for programs which utilize CEG. Oh, if anyone is interested, the company I bought it from is called Performance EXpress, and the card is priced at $395. _____ _____ ( ___ )-----------------------------------------------------------------( ___ ) | | || szabo@aludra.usc.edu | | | | /> |+===========================| | | | /< Lord Dethedrus || _ | | | | [\\\\\\(O):::<=====================- || || /__ / || || // | | | | \< Knight Defender || ||/\ | || || || || > \__/ || || \ | | |___| || / > |___| (_____)-----------------------------------------------------------------(_____)
