Thanks to Dennis for the words of welcome. Rest assured that I will be
cautious about pruning and re-arranging the msg. base. (whenever I get going
at it.) I'm too grggy just now, having gotten up very early to get ready for a
visit from our accountant (taxes and all that) A few more words for now: I
studied math in the 60s and started a slow-pace acquaintance with computers as
well around then.  More recently a musical colleague told me a little about
Forth (he was working on a lute tablature program).  Still more recently I
decided to learn machine language (8085) because I had a data recovery
pproblem to solve with a Radio Shack Model 100.  That same musical colleague's
reminder about Forth took root this time and it was off to the races.... Right
now I'm working on what Dennis has told me is a token threaded Forth. I will
be helping to get things happening around Toronto. I am minding the home front
just now (2 small boys) while my wife deals with a fairly steady stream of
copy-editing contracts.  Music (and other arts) have not provided much
activity for me lately, and cab driving doesn't pay enough. I am pleased to
have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Forth experts and trust that
others who drop in here feel likewise.  I am watching all the cat's/top's,
ready with 2c and the odd wisecrack. More anon , ......
