Message-ID: <7913@uceng.UC.EDU> Date: 30 Mar 91 17:23:17 GMT Organization: Univ. of Cincinnati, College of Engg. Lines: 20 I couldn't think of a better place to post this question, so please forgive me if it strays from the focus of this group. In the past i have recieved much useful information from both comp.lang.fortran & sci.math.num-analysis (the latter group includes items of general interest to numerical analysts, who naturally program most often in fortran). Recently, however, sci.math.num-analysis was removed from our site. When i complained, the sys-admin told me that possibly sci.math.num-analysis was not a "standard" news group, and thus had to be dropped. Since i have no knowledge of such thing as "standard" news groups, could anyone out there enlighten me? Does everyone else get sci.math.num-analysis? Thank you very much for any information i may use to get sci.math.num-analysis back. jim uber juber@uceng.uc.edu
