How about between Lucid on a Sun 4 and C on a Sun 3? (I mean the typical no-error-checking style of C programming.) How about these comparisons with any other Lisp? Rough estimates are OK. I don't need true benchmarks. I realize the the Lisp/C comparison depends a lot on the assumptions you make. The code I'm planning on will be fairly math-intensive. Thanks, Dave
