In perl 4.000(on 4.3BSD, compiled with gcc),
Running the following script and the perl will explode.


#! /usr/bin/perl

format =
~~<<<<<<<
$s
.

$s = "Just another perl novice.";
write(STDOUT);
__END__


I know the script is mistaken.
If format string is "~~^<<<<<<<", it works fine.
But, is't that daingerous?
