Because of the way email is forwarded the return addresses from decnet mail turns out to be something like: vax1::vax1::username@vax1.dnet Is there any handy-dandy sendmail rule that can remove the redundant parts of the address so that the address would be something like: username@vax1.dnet I've tried to come up with one...but I can't figure out how it would be done with my minimal sendmail knowledge.
