I have read a couple of articles in newspapers and some dicussion in this group and am still confused. Was there any kind of open bidding? It seems like some pork was thrown IBM's way (and MCI, an IBM running buddy), but I didn't see any hard facts as to the details of the arrangement, if anyone can clarify this, I would appreciate it. I would rather not have IBM running the operation of the internet, but I guess if it was an open bid, and to be up for grabs periodically, I can't really argue with that. -- Tom O'Toole - ecf_stbo@jhuvms.bitnet - JHUVMS system programmer Homewood Computing Facilities, Johns Hopkins University, Balto.
