I had a VLSI board and had to return it for much the same reason...the Chipset wouldn't support on board EMS or memory mapping utilities (TLB). Later versions of the VLSI chipset probably will. I now have a board based on Headlands Technology Chipset which does support EMS (but still won't properly remap memory for TLB or HRAM). (TLB and HRAM, btw, are shareware utilities that work like QRAM). Rob R.
