I have heard "nasty" rumors about the financial stability of Maxtor and Fujitsu (from both sides, I really love talking with sales reps) and similar rumors about the quality of each drive. I am looking for comments on either drive along the topics of reliability, noise, service from the company, would you buy another one etc. I am aware of the firmware problems when dealing with a SS2 but am assured that the fix is available "RSN".
