Message-ID: <25473@hydra.gatech.EDU> Date: 3 Apr 91 18:48:31 GMT Organization: Georgia Tech Research Institute Lines: 27 Can someone please recommend a couple of SCSI AT bus host adapter manufacturers (and maybe even board choices), that I can look into. I know that this is probably a FAQ, but . . . I've been trying to get info about the Adaptec AHA-1522 and AHA-1740, but have meet so much resistance to JUST GETTING BASIC informataion, that I no longer have any desire what-so-ever to deal with Adaptec. A call to Adaptec gets you a computer that tells you to contact your distributer. A call to the distributer get you: 1.) A company that is out of business. 2.) A changed phone number, and finally a person: "I'll have to call Adaptec" Other calls to Adaptec result in more computers and answering machines. I don't have time for this BS. I started two days ago and I still don't even have product information. I should have a BOARD by now . . . Other sources sought, PLEASE . . . hh --- Harry Haas GTRI/RIDL/EB | Georgia Tech Research Institute Research Engineer II | Georgia Institute of Technology 404-528-7679 | Atlanta Georgia, 30332 hh2@prism.gatech.edu | "What makes it DO that?!" - Bones -- Harry Haas GTRI/RIDL/DB "What makes it DO that!?" - Bones Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ncar,purdue,rutgers}!gatech!prism!hh2 Internet: hh2@prism.gatech.edu hhaas@{gtri01|rmadsun}.gatech.edu
