This question can be interpreted in two ways: If you're using someone else's TCP/IP protocol stack (commercial or freeware), there is probably an API call that will tell you (in PC/TCP it is named get_addr()). See the programmer's manual for our package. If you're writing your own, and want to find out what IP address your PC should use, use the BOOTP protocol (RFC 951). James B.
