It could turn *bold* into real bold and _underline_ into real underline and {this} into italic and -:) into something that resembles a smiling face. I'm sure there's other tricks it could perform. Additionally, it could underline the subject and remove the path and other noise headers. I guess the best way to do it would be to turn the article into nroff input. What do you think ?
