  I corresponded with the guy who did the conversion of curses wanderer to X
wanderer shortly after the curses version *after* the version he converted was
released.

  He said that he was going to convert the new version to X, but I don't think
he ever did it (he was probably too busy -- *I* can certainly understand that
:-).  I don't think there is any X version that will support the 3.XX screens,
and the only X version I know has some bugs that are fixed in later curses
2.XX versions.

  If you find out anything more optomistic than this, please let me know, I'm
very interested.
