I need some help!

I've escaped from the mine, gone back to the hotel, entered the room, got
captured (with the girl) and been thrown over the side of a boat attached
to a large rock!  What do I do now?  I don't seem to have anything useful.
I've got: Watch, Electric razor, Electric cable, Red carnation, Little Box
and Pen.  I suspect that I need something I haven't got.

Anybody got any clues?
