Summary: Does anyone use the amiga as an object editor for other systems Keywords: raytracing, amiga, objects Message-ID: <13119@ur-cc.UUCP> Date: 2 Apr 91 00:29:51 GMT Sender: news@uhura.cc.rochester.edu Organization: University of Rochester - Rochester, New York Lines: 16 Here's a good question: I'd like to use my amiga to create and edit 3D objects that I want to eventually raytrace on other systems, like our SPARC1s or our AT&T Pixel Machine. Now, does anyone have any experience (or software!) for doing this? I have a Sculpt4D->NFF converter. I'd like to convert Turbo Silver since it uses higher level primitives than Sculpt. Basically, if you have any experience in using the Amiga as an editor for big raytracers, let me know (send email). I will summarize if there is interest. Gavin Stark gest_ss@troi.cc.rochester.edu
