Hi,

My Amiga has a harware trouble.

its spesifications;

  * A500 with TV modulator. (revison 6)
  * 1.3 ROM
  * 512K CHIP + 512K on-board FAST RAM.
  * Standard custom chips.

Here is symptoms;

  * Screen is always black
  * Power led flashes

Its history;

  * 7 months ago, I installed four RAM Chip (44c256) on its board.
  * I put 4 330nF capacitors for each RAM chip. (but they were
    little bit taller than the originals)
  * Last week my Amiga did some nonsense things;
       It didn't read my good disk, give r/w error or
       not a DOS disk. I though it caugth a virus.
       But when I re-boot it, the 'put WB disk' screen
       appears later on and its colors were disorder.
       I opened-up its cover and I saw the capacitors
       which I installed has been broken by the pressure
       of the metal cover of Amiga.
       I pulled-up these four capacitors.
  * Then, it worked agaiiin.
    But it had worked well just for 1 week, last night my Amiga
    is dead as I described above.

I think its RAM or ROM is burned. Did you ever meet these
symptoms before ? What's your idea ? What can I do ?
Please help me ! Every suggestion will be appreciated.
