Can't say for absolute sure about the A500 but the Omnikey I have on my A1000 works fantastic, unless I want to "park" it :)(there's a df1: parked there anyway). The schematics for the A500 and A2000 keyboard input (if memory serves correctlly) are very similar. Unless someone on the net here has conflicting data, go for the Omnikey. Monty Saine p.s.
