I have a friend who has an Insider 1.5 meg card, the Amazing 512K hack,
two 2-meg Starboards, and a LIVE! all connected to his 1000. That would
indicate a pretty hefty power supply.

The card cages for the 1000: I don't know anyone who's tried one. The
reviews of them a couple years ago, when they came out, were unfavorable.
The biggest problem seems to be the differences between the 1000/2000 buses
in terms of electical signals. Could someone with more expertise in this
matter care to comment?
